Taqueria Mi Pueblo, nestled at 1532 Maxwell Rd, Eugene, OR, stands out as a hidden gem in an unlikely setting—a gravel parking lot of a junkyard. This unassuming Mexican restaurant has garnered a loyal following for its generous and flavorful offerings. Patrons rave about the enormous breakfast burritos, which are stuffed with rich ingredients, ensuring a fulfilling meal for any time of day. Katelynn Jewett affirms the popularity, stating it’s the go-to spot for substantial burritos. The tacos, though smaller, pack a punch with authentic flavors, served simply with onions and cilantro. Andi Kemp praises the excellent carnitas, further highlighting the irresistible and toning down smoky notes of the pickled carrots served on the side, which add a delightful heat to the meal. Quick service and affordability are recurring themes in customer experiences, as noted by Daniel Pearson, who admires both the convenience and quality of the food. Whether you’re in the mood for the adobada quesadilla or a spicy pollo a la diabla combo, Taqueria Mi Pueblo promises satisfaction with every bite, making it a must-visit spot for Mexican food lovers in Eugene. The blend of flavors, fast service, and welcoming vibe will undoubtedly pull you back for more.

I loved this place years ago, and still love it today. Not sure how to rate atmosphere, it's in the gravel parking lot of a junkyard. Breakfast burritos are lovely and enormous. Tacos are tiny street tacos, like 3 bites, but wonderful, and it's 6 for 3 tacos, with sides of rice, beans and cheese, sauce, and pickled carrots and jalapeno. Just updating my review with a menu photo with fall 2024 prices.

Delicious! I went there at 2pm for a late lunch and it was a great choice! I got a bacon breakfast burrito with medium spiciness and it was delicious! It's stuffed with the good stuff with just a little bit of heat in there. Another bonus was that there was no line and it only took like 5 minutes to get my food. Highly recommend!

Best carnitas I've ever tasted. Street tacos are excellent, too. Just onions and cilantro. The pickled carrots on the side have a nice slow heat. Affordable lunch. Fast service. Don't let the junkyard location deter you.

I just moved from Yuma, AZ on the Mexican Border and these Street Taco's are fabulous... the best Carne asada and polo street tacos.. Super friendly person who helped us and the lady cooking ...just yum...they have great prices. Oh wait! The beans are fantastic.. Also, for a street truck on a Sat afternoon in kinda a industrial area they had two guys waiting, one guy picking up, one who ordered in front of us and while we eating two more showed up... so yeah busy little truck.. 2 tables with four chairs .
